2019: Unitary evaluation of learning outcomes in order to improve the quality of learning in the workplace

The main objectives:

– Updating the database with items for learning outcomes assessment according to the Training Standards and the curriculum in force;

– Improving the competences of teachers in VET, including special education in the field of assessment and practicing item testing;

– Strengthening the partnership between education and the social partners in the field of learning outcomes assessment.

Results:

– a base of items containing 4550 items, of which 3500 revised items and 1550 new items, which will be accessible to IPT teaching staff, on the website www.alegetidrumul.ro and usable starting from the 2022-2023 school year;
– preparation of 200 practical and technological laboratory tests;
– testing 130 multiple choice items, representing approximately 10% of the total number of multiple choice items contained in the item base;
– 1 National analysis report made as a result of testing the items;

– 1 booklet on Unitary Evaluation of Learning Outcomes in IPT;
– 35 teachers with advanced skills in the field of improved assessment;
– 10 representatives of economic operators with improved skills in the field of evaluation of learning outcomes.

The existence of the base of items and the collection of practical samples will provide real support to IPT teachers in the process of unitary assessment of learning outcomes, in relation to the requirements of the assessment standards associated with URI in SPP. As a result of participating in this workshop, teachers were trained to acquire advanced skills in the field of learning outcomes assessment.
