The Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeships and Youth Entrepreneurship Programme (ESAYEP), the most extensive programme dedicated to the Romanian education within the EEA Grants, will be implemented by the ANPCDEFP during 2017 – 2024.
The Education, Scholarships, Apprenticeships and Youth Entrepreneurship Programme is one of the twelve programmes financed in Romania by Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland, during 2014-2021. The programmes were established in the framework of the 2014 – 2021 Memoranda of Understanding, concluded by Romania with the Donor States in order to reduce economic and social disparities and strengthen bilateral relationships in the European Economic Area (EEA).
With a budget of over € 14 million, the program aims to improve the quality and relevance of education and training, teacher development, student mobility, cooperation and partnerships between education and the labour market.
As an Operator of this Program, the National Agency for Community Programs in the Field of Education and Vocational Training (ANPCDEFP) together with the Donor Program Partners: the Norwegian Center for International Cooperation in Education (SIU) and the National Agency for International Education AIBA in Liechtenstein, defined the purpose, implementation and expected results of the Program at the pre-university, university, vocational and technical education level and at the level of its Roma component.
